Rescue thought he would grow up to be a guide dog for people who are blind or visually impaired. It’s the family business after all. When he gets the news that he is better suited as a service dog, he is worried that he is not up to the task. Then he meets Jessica, a girl whose life is also turning out differently than she had imagined. Now Jessica needs Rescue by her side to help her accomplish everyday tasks. Based on a true story and on the children's book by Jessica Kensky and Patrick Downes.
